Holiday Youth Program for Entrepreneurship is hosting a Back to School Backpack and School Supply Donation Drive.

We are raising funds to purchase 700 backpacks filled with school supplies as well as provide other supports in the form of hygiene kits and clothing.  They will be distributed to FAMU HIGH students (grades K-12) who may not have the financial means to obtain the necessary supplies for school.

How Can You Help?

This year, in an attempt to better understand what supplies we will receive from the Georgia Tech community, we ask that you review the list of available items below and signup for what you plan to donate on Sign Up Genius.

Who will be eligible to get supplies?

This initiative is intended to support FAMU High School families who may not be able to provide these supplies on their own. While there are no formal eligibility requirements, we ask that only those students in need make a request for a backpack. Backpacks are reserved only for children of FAMU High school. While we hope to have enough supplies to fulfill all requests, submission of a backpack request does NOT guarantee a backpack.

How can you Support?

We are collecting donations to purchase supplies for over 100 students. The funds will be used to purchase backpacks and school supplies (crayons, pencils, pencil sharpeners, pencil boxes, erasers, highlighters, folders, notebooks, glue sticks, and paper) for elementary students in need.

You can also purchase items through our Amazon list and have them delivered to FAMU High.
